About Me
The man behind the camera
The story of my incredible journey so far
…
My Story
My name is Nathan Kline. I am a seventeen-year-old high school senior from North East, Maryland. I have begun my undergraduate studies in communications and photography at Cecil College and plan to continue with my schooling with the goal of receiving my associate degree.
2021
Summer
My initial fascination with photography sparked during a hike in the Elk Neck area in 2019. After thorough research, I decided to invest in my first camera a few months later. While my early focus was on capturing the beauty of nature, I wanted to explore other realms of photography, though I wasn’t certain where that journey would lead.
Fall
Eventually this expanded to include sports and space flight photography. I have always loved sports, particularly baseball, so taking pictures at games came very naturally to me. During COVID I became interested in rocket launches. I made the trip to the Wallops Flight Facility to see a live launch and was instantly hooked.
2022
Fall
In the fall of 2022, I was approached by the coach of North East Football to be the photographer for the North East Football team in their upcoming season. I really enjoyed this and learned so much about action photography and editing from this.
2023
Spring
At this point, I started to establish my presence on social media through Instagram and began taking pictures of all of the local high school games as well as the games at Cecil College.
Fall
After establishing a local following, Cecil County Sports Weekly approached me to join them as a photographer in the fall. I accepted the offer, and I’ve been actively contributing to their team ever since.
2024
The New NKline Photography
After the experiences of the past few years, I am determined to elevate NKline Photography to new heights. In 2024, my goal is to expand my photography portfolio, transforming this passion into a future career. I believe this website will serve as a crucial platform to enhance the quality of my work and make 2024 a year of exciting growth and opportunities.
